He however commended youths in the state for the orderly manner they conducted themselves during the poll in line with Ishaku’s administration’s “peace matre.”
Mr Atoshi called on the Youths to come out in their numbers and ensure that credible candidate emerges in the continuity of transformation agenda of Governor Darius Ishaku.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had postponed the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for March 11 to Saturday March 18.
It said following the ruling by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (EPT) on the reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) used for the February 25 Presidential election, it met to assess its impact on its preparations for the governorship exercise.
State governors have equally availed themselves of the seven days provided by the postponement to further woo the electorate with intervention programmes, all in a bid to entice the voters.
