Davido Postpones A.W.A.Y concert Davido, Ifeanyi and Mum, Chioma

Music sensation, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has postponed his anticipated festival A.W.A.Y, which is slated to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on November 18, 2022.

His management released a statement postponing his Away festival.

According to the statement, Davido desires to spend time with his family and loved ones during these difficult times.

The statement reads:
“We have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone A.W.A.Y Festival until Saturday, November 18, 2023.

It is necessary for Davido to spend time with his family and loved ones at this time.

To all ticket buyers, your tickets will be honored for the 2023 date.
Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you all in the near future”.

Recall that the singer had lost his beloved son, Ifeanyi on October 31st.

The Singer who has Children from different women including the mother of the late Ifeanyi, Chioma Rowland, is slated to marry Chioma in 2023.

What will happen following the death of their son is unknown to many but he had before now presented her with a Car and made a track in her honour tagged ‘Assurance’ in 2018.

Ifeanyi who also until his death in a drowning incident at the Singer’s Banana Island mansion two weeks ago also had thousands of followers across Social media platforms was always part of the Musicians daily posts across Social Media.

His Instagram page has since been shut down by the Afrobeat Superstar.

His death is currently being investigated by the Police who have also arrested two of his domestic Staff.

The death of his Son had drawn widespread expression of grief from Nigerians, Politicians, Nollywood Stars and his colleagues in the music industry.

He has since maintained a lower profile than many are accustomed to from him which may be a sign of his grief following the death of his son, Ifeanyicukwu Adeleke.
