The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC ) has pledged to check-mate baby factories, maintain proper security in boarding schools, and address the problem of child labor.
NSCDC Enugu State Commandant, Aloysius Obiorah, made the commitment during the passing out parade for the newly trained female Special Squad in the state.
Approximately 107 female special squad members completed their training and are ready to face the challenges ahead.
The commandant urged the new female squad members not to be found wanting in keeping to the mandate of protecting critical national assets.
Police and other paramilitary representatives urged the newly trained corps to avoid corruption and promote Patriotic service.
