As the 2023 general elections draws closer political parties are returning to grassroots to garner the support of electorates for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket before the commencement of campaigns.
The APC Youth Stakeholders Forum in partnership with the Niger Ex-Councillors Forum for Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 presidential candidacy, has held a one day stakeholders meeting in Niger state to synergise their efforts.
After the primary elections candidates representing various political parties have continued consultations with key stakeholders that hold political influence in regions across the country .
The date for the official commencement of campaigns is drawing closer and this will afford candidates the opportunity to speak directly to the electorates convincing them of their plans if voted into power.
As a result, Grassroots mobilisation has now taken centre stage.
This coalition of youths in the All progressives Congress says it will leave no stone unturned in ensuring victory for the party which is why it is partnering with a forum of former councillors to drive campaigns at the grassroot level for the APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Niger state.
They say part of their strategy will be to embark on a door to door campaign across the 274 Wards in the 25 local government councils of the state to secure the votes of the electorates.
Despite the the controversies surrounding the Muslim-Muslim ticket fielded by the All progressives Congress, this coalition says it believes the APC will drive the course for a peaceful and United Nigeria.
