In a rather funny twist, a PDP lawmaker representing Amuwo-Odofin constituency 1 in the state house of Assembly, Dipo Olorunrinu has
defected to the All Progressives Congress.

Dipo who is the last PDP lawmaker standing two years after 7 other members of his party defected to the APC, saying his decision to dump the PDP is due to the achievements recorded by the APC in its desire to move the country and the state forward.

Dipo who described PDP as a sinking party apologised to the house for his delayed defection and vowed to work with the party in helping it achieve
it’s goals in the state.
