The increasing wave of kidnapping in Lagos state has caught the attention of the House of Representatives with a call on police authorities and other security agencies to review their information gathering strategy.
The resolution was sequel to a motion on the recent abduction of six students of Lagos state Model College in Igbonla, Epe area of the state.
The sponsor of the motion who represents the area, Wale Raji, noted that the Riverine communities of Ishawo, Igbodu, Ise and Ibeju Lekki have come under siege.

He urged the police hierarchy to spare no effort in rescuing the abducted students as soon as possible.
