TVC N. The All Progressives Congress in Lagos will today elect candidates that will fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming local government election in the state.
The state electoral body LASIEC had in April released a timetable for the elections which is slated for the 22nd of July 2017.
The local government areas are currently run by sole administrators appointed by the state government.
The APC will not be holding elections into 18 Local Government areas where the party had resolved to return some of the candidates who have only spent a four-year term.
