Chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta Central and South senatorial districts have endorsed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for a second term.
TVC News Correspondent reports that at their monthly meetings at Orerokpe and Warri respectively, the party leaders declared that there will be no vacancy at the State House in 2019.
In Delta Central, the party leaders resolved to sustain power rotation in the state, by allowing Okowa who hails from Delta North to complete his eight years tenure.
At the Delta South meeting, which was hosted by the immediate past Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, the stakeholders vowed to stop any plan by undemocratic forces to truncate the peaceful power rotation among the three senatorial districts.
Recall the immediate past governor of the state, Emmanuel Uduaghan had last week endorsed governor Okowa for a second term in office.
