A non governmental organisation working with children in the north east has expressed it’s concern over the lack of a proper education structure in the region due to the ongoing insurgency.
It is worried that the more than 3 million children in the north east are in need of education and the number could increase if steps are not taken to address the situation
Speaking during a media briefing in Abuja, the chief executive officer of Save the Children, Tove Wang says more funding needs to be pumped into the region for educational interventions.
