Nigeria’s Auto Fiscal Policy 2013 came under scrutiny when both public and private key players gathered for a reality check and to discuss the future of the automotive industry.
During the symposium organised by the Automobile and Allied Sector Group of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and industry, participants reviewed the performance of the Auto Policy in the light of current economic situation.
They also made recommendations that they believe can ensure the survival of the automotive sector.
The ten year 2013 Auto Fiscal Policy was formulated to among other things create economic environment to allow existing assembly plants attract other Original Equipment Manufacturers, OEMs.
