- The Ministry of Communications has suspended the implementation of the Unstructured Supplementary
- Service Data (USSD)Policy.
Communications Minister, Ibrahim Pantami disclosed this during a Joint Committee session for budget defence at the National Assembly.
The Minister says this new development will help reduce the unnecessary service charge on Nigerians.

He adds that any network operator who flouts his directives will face adequate sanctions.
