Joe Biden was on Wednesday inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States of America regardless of political leanings.

Like those before him, Biden delivered what many described as a unifying inaugural speech that fits the current situation in the world’s ,most powerful nation.

But what message did this Inauguration Day speech portray?

Here is a compilation of other memorable speeches by past and president American presidents.

1. George Washington, 1789
