The  Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, has  approved the payment of a Sallah (Eid-el-Kabir) bonus to all civil servants and pensioners in Zamfara State.

This timely gesture is a reflection of the Governor’s deep commitment to the welfare and happiness of the people, especially during the sacred period of Eid-el-Kabir—a time of sharing, reflection, and prayer. The Governor’s decision to extend this bonus comes as a way to ease the financial burden on families and enable them to celebrate the festivities with joy and dignity.

In his message to the good people of Zamfara State, Governor Dauda Lawal, who is currently on pilgrimage to the Holy Land of Makkah, expressed his warmest wishes for a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration. He called on all residents to celebrate responsibly and to keep Zamfara State in their prayers, especially for the continued peace, development, and prosperity of our dear state.

Governor Dauda Lawal said:

“I am deeply grateful to Almighty Allah for granting us the opportunity to witness yet another Eid. As we celebrate, I urge us all to reflect on the essence of this season — unity, sacrifice, and compassion. Let us pray for our beloved Zamfara State and our nation, Nigeria. Together, we can build a better future for ourselves and generations to come.”

The Governor further encouraged all citizens to maintain law and order during the celebrations, reminding everyone that peace and security are the bedrock of sustainable development.

As a leader with the heart of the people at the core of his governance, Governor Dauda Lawal has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the well-being of all Zamfara residents. His administration remains focused on delivering the dividends of democracy and ensuring that no one is left behind.

The Ministry of Information and Culture, under the leadership of the Honourable Commissioner, Hon. Mahmud Muhammad Dantawasa, joins the Governor in wishing all Muslims and the entire people of Zamfara State a blessed and joyful Eid-el-Kabir.

May Almighty Allah accept our acts of worship and grant us peace, progress, and prosperity.
