The Young Progressives Party (YPP) governorship candidate, Paul Chukwuma, has cast his vote in Umuleri community, Anambra East Local Government Area, as the state-wide governorship election unfolds.

Chukwuma, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant, secured the YPP ticket in April after winning 366 “yes” votes in the party’s primary. He is among 16 candidates from 16 political parties contesting to unseat the incumbent governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), who is seeking a second term.
