Three journalists working with TVC Communications and Channels Television have been attacked in Ilesa, Osun state.
Their attackers, who are demonstrating youth, destroyed two cameras and and three tripods.
They were initially protesting against the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC, which disconnected the six local governments making up Ijesaland, from the national grid.

The young people turned on the journalists who came to cover the protest.
IBEDC said they disconnected Ijesaland, after their staff were beaten a few days ago.
The journalists are currently receiving treatment at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, in Osogbo.
