A house wife Dolapo George, has been arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Ado Ekiti charged with child abuse. She was alleged to have burnt thelips of a 9 years old girl, Jumoke who was put in her care.
She was arraigned on a two count charge of child abuse and causing bodily injury to an orphan.
Ekiti State chapter of the International Federation of Female Lawyers FIDA reported the accused at Odo Ado Divisional Police Headquarters leading to her arrest.

The alleged victim has been taken off Dolapo George’s custody and handed over to another relative for better care.
Dolapo pleaded not guilty and was granted bail and the case adjourned till May 6.
