We’re working hard to rescue Siasia’s mother – Police

Image result for We're working hard to rescue Siasia's mother - PoliceThe Bayelsa state Police command said it is not relenting in efforts to rescue Ogere Siasia, the 76 year old mother of former player and coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia.

At a news conference in Yenagoa, Commissioner Of Police Uche Anozia further solicits the support of the people of the state to clamp down on kidnapping and other crimes in the state

The visibly traumatised father of the former player and coach of the Super Eagles enquiring about his wife, Oge-ere Siasia kidnapped on the 15th of July this year.

Commissioner of Police Uche Anozia and his men have been combing the waterways for leads to the abductions of the Septuagenarian.

No doubt, kidnapping is an increasing social malady in Nigeria which requires collective will of the people to deal with. It is almost two months since Mrs Oge-ere Siasia was kidnapped in Odoni, leaving her 93 year old husband in shock.

The police in Bayelsa State on Friday lamented the difficulties they have faced in their efforts to rescue the abducted mother of former coach.

The Commissioner Of Police,  Uche Anoziai, told journalists in his office at the police headquarters in Yenagoa on Friday, that the impediment bordered on the “changing of locations” of the bandits.
