The senator-elect for Kwara South senatorial district, Lola Ashiru, said the incoming All Progressives Congress government may investigate or probe the current and past administrations only if absolutely necessary.
This is just as two other groups said that the government that will be inaugurated by May 29, cannot afford to disappoint the people.
Correspondent Ibrahim Alege reports that the All Progressives Congress won all the elective posts in Kwara state and the people have high hopes of the incoming government.
Addressing a press conference in his Offa country home, the Kwara south senator-elect, Lola Ashiru said probing of the current and past
administrations may not be the priority of the APC government unless absolutely necessary.
He promised that the APC government will pay the #30,000 minimum wage but cautions of the attendant high inflation rate.
In the meantime, two APC groups in the state have assured the people that the party will not disappoint them. They also assured that the next federal cabinet will comprise of men and women of proven integrity.
The people of Kwara state are watching as the clock ticks towards the formation of a new government.
