Resident Doctors at the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ondo state are protesting over the non-implementation of the new minimum wage scale and payment of all hazard allowance arrears.
Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the doctors urged the management to employ new doctors to increase manpower across the various departments.

They also asked the government to ensure parity of salary payment with other tertiary hospitals as contained in teaching hospital constitution.
But the state government says it is looking into their demands
The state commissioner for Health, Banji Ajaka said the state government is focusing on the welfare of health workers in the state
