In Akwa Ibom State, Governor Umo Eno is keeping a close eye on ongoing government projects.
The governor led a two-day projects review meeting at the Government House, Uyo, from May 22 to 24, bringing together commissioners, project advisors, and top government officials.
Out of 57 ongoing projects, 48 were thoroughly reviewed — all part of the state’s ARISE Agenda.
Governor Eno stressed accountability and teamwork, saying projects must meet quality standards and be delivered on time.
He assured that his administration will continue to manage resources prudently, focusing on service delivery over party politics.
Among the projects reviewed were major infrastructure works like the renovation of Ibom Hotel, the new ARISE Park, Ibom Multi-specialist Hospital, and the Speaker’s Lodge, etc.
