Nifemi Oguntoye, News Anchor and Deputy Head of Presentation at TVC News, and Moninkanola Ogidan, Presenter at Adaba FM are among 20 Nigerian journalists selected for the prestigious MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) 2024 Fellowship.The MTN MIP, facilitated by MTN Nigeria in partnership with the Pan-Atlantic University’s School of Media and Communications, received over 2,000 applications. After a rigorous selection process, 20 fellows were chosen to participate in the fully-funded, six-month certificate program.

The program, which commenced on May 20, 2024, at the Pan-Atlantic University’s Main Campus in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, includes a study visit to the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and a tour of the MTN Group Head office in Sandton.

The program aims to equip participants with the skills to create impactful content in the rapidly changing media landscape, upholding the highest intellectual, ethical, and professional values.

Key Highlights:

* 20 Nigerian journalists selected from over 2,000 applications
* Fully-funded, six-month certificate program
* Includes study visit to University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and MTN Group Head office tour
* Focuses on using technology to create impactful content and adapting to the changing media landscape
