Governor Rauf Aregbesola has said Nigerians must begin to understand the essence of culture in national development if the country truly intends to diversify away from oil.
Aregbesola stated this at the National Conference of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism held in Osogbo, the state capital.
The Governor said Tourism has over the years been identified as one of the viable sectors to tap into in the diversification moves which according to him will create more wealth for the country.
