The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reminded eligible Nigerians that Sunday, July 26, 2026, is the final day for the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), urging prospective voters not to miss the deadline.
The commission made the announcement on Sunday in a post on its official X page, calling on Nigerians to complete their registration or update their voter information before the close of the exercise.
“Time is running out, but there’s still an opportunity to make your voice count,” INEC said.
According to the commission, eligible Nigerians can still register as new voters, transfer their registration, correct personal details or apply for the replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

It urged prospective voters to complete the process online or visit any of its state or local government offices before the deadline.
“Don’t wait until it’s too late. Your vote is your voice. Register today and be ready to decide tomorrow,” the commission stated.
INEC also directed Nigerians to complete the online registration through its Continuous Voter Registration portal before the exercise officially closes on Sunday.
