The APC Women Presidential Campaign Council has urged Nigerian women across the country to protect and accelerate the victories recorded thus far in the quest for equity and meaningful empowerment by supporting the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the APC at the polls next year.
The appeal was contained in an address delivered by Asabe Vilita Bashir, the National Coordinator of the women’s campaign team, at the inauguration of the leadership of the Progressive Sisters’ Network (PSN) and the launch of it’s Sister-to-Sister campaign.

The Progressive Sisters’ Network is a national women-led organisation which seeks to mobilise women’s votes through extensive, grassroots-focused voter mobilisation projects and via specialised communication tools and platforms.
According to a pro-APC advocacy group operating under the aegis of Progressive Sisters’ Network, the joint ticket of Tinubu and Shettima in the general election of 2023 offers greater potential for women’s emancipation in Nigeria.
The group claimed that given the two men’s backgrounds as former governors of their respective states, they would be more concerned with ensuring equity for Nigerian women.
The Network’s National Coordinator, Rinsola Abiola said the team’s main goal right is to do its part to get women to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is running for president, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
“Our message is clear: the Tinubu/Shettima ticket offers Nigerian women the best chance at equity, and this claim is supported by both men’s credentials of public service”.
