President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to attend the coronation ceremony of the newly appointed Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rashidi Ladoja.
Tinubu arrived alongside Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke
The President’s aircraft departed from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at around 12:45 p.m. on Friday, leading a delegation of high-profile dignitaries to the historic event.

The official coronation, taking place at the iconic Mapo Hall, marks the formal installation of Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan, following the passing of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on July 7, 2025.
Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, ascends the revered throne in accordance with the traditional chieftaincy succession system of Ibadanland.
The event has drawn royal fathers, political leaders, and cultural stakeholders from across the country.
