The Super Falcons of Nigeria, have arrived the United States of America on a two-match tour with the country’s Women’s National Team, with the first of two matches taking place at Kansas City on Saturday, September 3rd.
Both teams, who are currently participating in separate continental tournaments, are anticipated to face off on September 3 at the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas and on September 6 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.

Defenders Oluwatosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran, as well as midfielders Esther Onyenezide and Deborah Abiodun, were chosen by coach Randy Waldrum from Nigeria’s U20 squad, which advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
The Super Falcons have won the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations nine times, participated in each FIFA Women’s World Cup, and played in the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Olympic women’s football competitions. They remain the most successful women’s team in Africa.
