Students of tertiary institutions in Ogun State have appealed to traditional rulers and external entities to stop interfering in students leadership and electoral processes.The students under the aegis of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, National Association of Ogun State Students, NAOSS and National Association of Yewa Students, NAYES made this appeal in Abeokuta.
The students leaders say their appeal was in response to allegations by a prominent group in the state regarding the recently concluded NAYES convention and election.

They faulted the allegations and appealed to elders to desist from meddling into students Union leadership.
