Parading the suspects at the State Police Headquarters Sokoto, the command Public Relations Officer PPRO, Cordelia Nwawe says until their arrest the suspects have been running a criminal syndicate to forge and issue fake National Identity card to unsuspecting members of the public for the past five years.

According to the police, the two staff of Fidelity Bank Mudassir Taofeeq, and Perez Percy with their accomplices, Abdussamad Lawal who operate the business centre where the alleged crime is been perpetrated alongside two of his assistant; Shitu Isiaka and Priscilla Kuhwa have divulged vital
information aiding police investigation.

Also paraded is a suspected gang of five members engaged in armed robbery and banditry accused of terrorising some villages in Gudu local government area of Sokoto, as well as a suspected criminal syndicate specialized in bike snatching within Sokoto metropolis were also smashed by men and
officers of the command.
