Members of the Federal House of Representatives have pledged to undertake projects valued at 400 million Naira for the Tudun Biri community, which was bombed in error by the Nigerian Army, December 3rd.

The Northern regional caucus forum in the National Assembly, along with other Northern lawmakers, announced a donation of 45 million Naira to support the victims of the attack.

The delegation, led by Alhassan Doguwa, who heads the Northern regional caucus forum in the National Assembly, made this commitment.

The proposed projects for the community encompass the construction of a hospital, blocks of classrooms, boreholes, access roads.

Additionally, the federal lawmakers have pledged to establish a police outpost to bolster security measures.

They also assured both individual and collective efforts to liaise with the government for the fulfillment of all other commitments.

In response, Governor Uba Sani expressed dissatisfaction with the current security laws, noting their lack of alignment with international best practices. He urged for amendments to enhance their effectiveness.

He also voiced concerns about the perceived lack of coordination within the country’s security architecture, emphasizing the necessity for a timely and thorough investigation into the incident.
