The Police in Kano have dispersed members of the New Nigeria Peoples’ Party, NNPP who were on the street to protest recent judgement by the Appeal Court that declares Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress, APC as winner of the March 18 Kano State governorship election.
The protests in Kano is coming after the Appeal Court handed over Certified True Copies of the Judgment to the NNPP.

The NNPP has since filed an appeal at the Supreme Court challenging removal of Governor Abba Yusuf as validly elected Governor of Kano State.
