Ogun State Government has confirmed that more than one thousand persons have benefited from its free surgical mission designed to assist the less privileged.
The State Governor, Dapo Abiodun also says close to seventy thousand persons have benefited from the state health insurance scheme.
Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun has promised that his administration will continue to prioritise the welfare and wellbeing of the people as he invests heavily in the state health sector.
He made this known while speaking on the impacts of the health insurance Programme and the free surgical mission of his administration.
The State Commissioner for Health on her part highlighted different areas and types of surgeries performed and other interventions of the state Government, especially on primary healthcare.
They commended the Governor for his investment in the Sector and say the state is planning to have a minimum of two primary health care centres in a each ward.
