Election into the vacant Osun West Senatorial Seat in the National Assembly will now hold on July the 8th.
This is against July the 22nd date suggested by representatives of political parties in the state.
A notice of election signed by the Administrative Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the state says conduct of primaries by political parties will hold between June the 6th and 14th.

Among other information, the notice reads that the last day for campaign is July the 6th.
Osun West Senatorial Seat became vacant after the death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke in April.
