Operation Puff Adder: Police parade 70 suspects in Ogun

Image result for Operation Puff Adder: Police parade 70 suspects in OgunThe Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Bashir Makama has paraded more than 70 suspects and confirmed that the operation is getting desired results.

The parade comes in less than two weeks after the launch of Operation Puff Adder in the state.

TVC News Kazeem Olowe reports that the suspects were arrested for various crimes including Cultism, armed robbery and impersonation.

In his determination to reduce the level of crime in Ogun State and to make the state remains safe for reaidents and investors to operate, the
Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama has mandated his officers to not allow criminals to hibernate in the state.

He noted that through the Operation Puff Adder in the state, criminals are now getting the message from the Police that things have changed.

The Commissioner identified Cultism, Ritual killings and kidnapping as some of the major problems confronting residents and confirmed that the Command is getting desired results. He noted that his men carried out a successful operation at Lafenwa Area of Abeokuta, where some people were selling fake alcoholic drinks

Some of the suspects, including a fake soldier said they regretted their actions and pleaded for leniency. The Police Commissioner however commended residents for providing necessary and useful information, urging them not to relent.
