The Inspector General of the Police, Ibrahim Idris, has ordered a probe into the alleged non-payment of police entitlements in Ondo state, during the election.
The police chief in press statement on friday appealed for “a little patience” from the affected policemen, who were yet to be paid their allowances, days after the Governorship election in Ondo.

He said that the issue is being looked into, and no one would be cheated.
An investigation panel will be headed by a retired assistant inspector general of police, Ali Ahmadu.
