The Ondo state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Pedro Ideba has warned criminals in the state to steer clear of pipeline vandalisation and bunkering.
Ideba gave the warning in Akure the Ondo state capital at a programme designed to mark world civil defence day.
The NSCDC boss noted that the command is working with other security agencies in the state to rid the state of criminal activities.

Ideba explained that world civil defence day is designed to bring the attention of the public to the importance of Civil Protection and self-protection measures in the event of accidents or disasters.
He added that the command has apprehended five fraudsters in the last two months.
