The Federal High Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo State Capital has fixed April 17 for judgement in the suit challenging the removal of Isaacs Kekemeke as the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC)
Kekemeke was indicted by the disciplinary committee set up by state Executive Committee(SEC) of the party last year over alleged anti-party affairs.
The suit challenging the removal of Kekemeke was filled by the duo of Gboyega Adedipe and Desmond Dejumola who are members of the party’s executive.
At the resumed hearing, the court heard all the arguments on the preliminary objection and the substantive case.
Counsel to the Plaintiffs,Olugburo Akinola argued that the disciplinary committee set up to investigate the chairman was unconstitutional.
His argument came after he had withdrawn the motion he filled against the recognition of Ade Adetimehin as the acting chairman of the APC in Ondo state.
In his own submission, Counsel to the Acting Chairman of APC , Ade Adetimehin and APC, Femi Emmanuel said the court lack jurisdiction to entertain the case.
In her ruling, the presiding judge, Justice J. A Olubanjo fixed judgment in the suit for April 17.
