Ondo agency executes 50 projects in 26 communities

The Ondo State Community and Social Development Agency has executed 50 projects in two six communities, through the Nigeria COVID-19 Action and Economy Stimulus Programme for result.

The Operations Manager of the agency, Olumide Igbaroola disclosed this at a stakeholders’ meeting with residents of Araromi-Aladodo community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, where two projects will be executed.

Araromi-Aladodo is an agrarian community in Isikan, Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The community lacks basic health facilities, as well as good road, potable water among others.

However, the people can now breathe a sigh of relief because the Ondo State Community and Social Development Agency is planning to carry out two projects in the area.

The community chose the projects, which will be largely funded by the state government.

In his address to the people, the agency’s Operations Manager, Olumide Igbaroola, stated that the projects will be monitored and supervised by the community.

The Olu of Aladodo, Ayodeji Fatoki, and other community leaders are overjoyed with the development.

Aside from that, the community head organized free health services for residents.

Residents were given free blood sugar and blood pressure tests, as well as medications.
