Police in Ogun State have recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of all the seven suspects in connection with alleged case of conspiracy, kidnapping, murder and armed robbery at Ijebu Igbo Community.
It was a success story for officers of the Ogun State Police Command as they have successfully captured all the suspects involved in the alleged case of conspiracy, kidnapping, murder, attempted murder and armed robbery at Ijebu Igbo area of Ogun State.
The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu had on 29th of July, 2024, paraded two suspects, who reportedly confessed to participating in various crimes in the state.
The suspects also led the police commissioner to the forest where they buried their victims and warned the authorities that other gang members were on the loose.
However, the pleased Police Commissioner has stated that all culprits have been apprehended, and the police have records of their operations and victims.
The Commissioner also praised his personnel for their dedication and competent handling of cases, stating that the command will stop at nothing to reduce crime in the state.
He said the suspects would be charged to court for prosecution.
The Commissioner of Police also appealed to residents to continue to support the police with useful information, stating that the Ogun State Police Command is ready to slug it out with criminals who are not ready to change from their evil ways.
