The National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) held an emergency meeting at its headquaters to discuss national issues and the way forward.
At the meeting, depot and petroleum products marketers association discussed the 14day ultimatum issued the federal government to offset the N650 billion debt owed its members.
NUPENG President, Igwe Achese said the government should dialogue as the union will not support the propsed sack of more than 10 thousand workers.
