NNPC-ShellNPECo and Co-venture Partners, in collaboration with the Nigerian Immigration Services, have unveiled the Remodeled Clearance Counters and Refurbished Arrival E Lounge of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Comptroller of the MMIA Command stated that the Federal Government’s reforms and collaborative efforts with the private sector are yielding the desired results for better and improved airport operations.
Shell NEPCo and NNPC Limited said the refurbishment aligns with the organization’s core mandate on social responsibility, and the design is to ensure seamless travel for passengers and less Stress for Nigerians
The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Ojo said he is excited by the recent developments, adding that government business must be treated with all sense of seriousness, promising to bring in more reforms that will ease Nigerians.
Faster processing time, improved operational tools, elimination of long queues, dedicated counters for VIPs and special dignitaries, cultural ambience and special treat for physically challenged persons are some of the features in this remodeled and refurbished E-Lounge of the Airport facility.
