The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has denied reports of impending scarcity due to the alleged refusal of some oil marketers to lift products from the depots.

In a statement released on its verified Twitter handle and signed by, its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Ndu Ughamadu, the NNPC said it had more than one billion litres of fuel in stock.

NNPC has once again appealed to Nigerians to disregard trending social media report and desist from engaging in panic buying or hoarding of fuel.

But long queues are resurfacing at some Petrol stations in Ondo State.

In areas like Oda, Ondo road, Ijoka, most of the fuel stations are under lock and key. But a few that have the product are selling at the normal price

Investigation carried out by TVC News Correspondent, Ayodeji Moradeyo shows that many petrol stations have the product but are not dispensing fuel to commuters
