The Teranga Lions of Senegal, rounded off the year as Africa’s highest-ranked team and 20th in the world.
Tunisia are seven places below Senegal in the FIFA world ranking but are Africa’s second best team.
Belgium are FIFA’s ‘Team of the Year’ after wrapping up 2019 as the World’s number one team.
World champions France and Brazil remain in second and third, but the make-up of the top five changed, with England climbing one place to fourth and Uruguay moving up to fifth on the back of a two-spot rise.
Argentina and Colombia entered the top ten at the expense of Switzerland and Denmark.
