Following the shooting at two mosques in New Zealand’s Christchurch that killed 50 people, the country’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern on Monday said she will announce new gun laws within days.
The prime minister also says an inquiry will look at the lead up to attack and what might have been done differently and encouraged gun owners in the country to surrender their firearms.
In the Meantime, residents of Christchurch have been paying their last respects to victims of the nation’s worst ever terror attacks.
