The swift response and support shown by residents of Jos to victims of   the two-story building collapse have been commended.

The director general of the National Emergency Management Agency gave  the commendation during her visit to the scene of the collapsed building in Jos.

The unity and oneness shown by residents of Jos following the collapse of Saint Academy in the Busa Buji community is now  the talk of the day in Jos.

Irrespective of religious differences, residents trooped out in  their numbers showing their  supports for the victims.

The call for blood donation was adhered to by residents who willingly yielded and gave their all.

The director general of the National Emergency Management Agency has now  joined the list of government officials who have visited  the site.

Shortly after the visit to the scene, the DG NEMA  proceeds to the hospital to see the victims who are receiving medical attention.

On a condolence visit to the state governor, the  DG  sympathizes with the government and people of the state over the  unfortunate incident.

The NEMA leadership assures the state government of its support for the victims as it  launches an investigation to determine the cause of the disaster.
