The Anambra state command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, has commenced raiding of rural communities where trafficking and use of dangerous drugs are used.
The raid was conducted at a community in Awka North Local Government Area, where an alleged drug peddler was arrested. But the major dealer escaped during the invasion.
state commander of the Anambra state, Sule Momodu disclosed that the exercise which is set to rid the communities of drug peddlers and smokers was to sustain their fight to achieve zero tolerance to drug trafficking in the state.
