NATCOM congratulates President Tinubu on S'Court victory

National Leadership of the National Commission for the Coordination and Control of the Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons, NATCOM has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court.

NATCOM congratulated the President via an e-mail by its Acting Director General of NATCOM Mr Adejare Adegbenro.

According to him “Indeed democracy has triumphed.”

The Supreme Court had on Thursday dismissed the appeals filed against President Tinubu by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party, as well as their candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, respectively.

Adegbenro used the opportunity to commend the Judiciary, saying that “the judgment will strengthen legal jurisprudence in Nigeria.”

The Acting DG also used the opportunity to solicit ascent to his bill currently before the President.

He pledged his agency commitment to ensuring that President Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda,’ is supported to address the pressing socio-economic and security issues affecting the country.

Adegbenro maintained that with the verdict of the Supreme Court, “the coast is finally cleared and arguments laid to rest”.

The Agency also expressed optimism in the ability and capacity of the incumbent administration of President Tinubu to deliver dividends of Democracy to Nigerians.
