It is a fact that every year, there is an increase in the number of graduates from Nigeria’s tertiary institutions.

These graduates are usually faced with the challenges of grappling with the limited available job opportunities.

Aside from this, many youths in the country do not have formal education and this has continued to pose a threat to the country’s security.

To address this employment gap President Muhammadu Buhari approved the establishment of skill development centres and institutions across the country.

It is in compliance with this, that Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI visited Gwantu village of Sanga Local Government of Kaduna State to flag off the Construction of the project.

The project when completed will provide the opportunity for youths of the locality to gain the needed skills to be self reliant and employable.

It will also train and empower youths without formal education.

Locals of the community pledged to utilise the opportunity to be skilled.

The establishment of the centre in Gwantu will compliment the efforts of both the federal government and the Kaduna State government on job creation.
