Residents of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, now have access to more areas of the city as the water from the bust dam progressively recedes.
As reconstruction of damaged bridges continue apace by the government people now have access to their business and worship places.
Most shops and other businesses have started to open, and life is gradually returning to normal.
