Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara is Currently chairing the 23rd State Executive Council Meeting.
The Meeting is holding at the state executive Council Chamber, at the Government House, Gusau.
Critical issues of Development, Security, Education among others are expected to be part of the agenda for the meeting.
Earlier before the official commencement of the executive council Meeting, the chief press Secretary to the Governor, Sani Sambo on behalf of the Zamfara State Government House Press crew congratulated the Governor and his team on the recent National award as best performing state in the North West region on Primary Health Care.

Zamfara was declared the winner of the PHC Leadership Challenge during an award night held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre over the Weekend in Abuja.
The Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) had in 2022 launched the Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge, pledging to build a health system that delivers quality care regardless of geography or circumstance.
The declaration of state of emergency on Health sector by Governor Dauda Lawal which prompted the Construction, Renovation, upgrade and Installation of modern equipment in Primary, Secondary and Tartiary Health Institutions across the state lead to the Successes recorded.
The State Deputy Governor, Mani Mumuni, The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mukhtar Lugga, Private Principal Secretary to the Governor Munir Baba, Sixteen out of the eighteen Commissioners and two permanent Secretaries representing their Commissioners were in attendance.
The Director General Media and Communication Government House, Nuhu Salihu Anka, Special Assistant To the Governor on Media Suleiman Bala Idris, Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs and other advisers to the Governor were also in attendance.
