As part of efforts to restore order and maintain cleanliness around the Oko-Oba Abattoir in Agege, the Lagos State Government has begun a fresh clean-up operation targeting illegal structures in the area.
Operatives of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI), in collaboration with other security agencies, today, began the demolition of illegal shanties along the drainage setbacks of the Oko-Oba Abattoir.
The affected structures are said to serve as hideouts for individuals engaging in suspicious activities, raising security concerns among residents and traders in the area.
